Robert Harold Cooper Jr., 64, of Danville, and formerly of Mifflinburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Aug. 18, 1953, in Bloomsburg, the son of the late Robert Harold Sr. and Doris R. (Oberdorf) Cooper.
Robert graduated from Columbia Montour Area Vocational-Technical School in 1971.
He was employed at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, in the cafeteria for a few years and went on to Cabinet Works as a finish sprayer and then to Pennsylvania House.
Robert was a member of the Mifflinburg Moose.
He enjoyed watching football, bowling and was an avid NASCAR fan cheering on Jeff Gordon.
Robert is survived by one brother, Gary L. Cooper and his wife Barbara A., of Danville. He is also survived by two nephews, Nicholas A. Cooper, of New Jersey and Christopher A. Cooper, of Washington.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward E. Cooper and Frederick A. Cooper.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
