Robert K. Brosious, 78, of Northumberland, passed away Jan. 2, 2018 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born May 19, 1939, in Sunbury, a son of the late Edward and Stella ( Mensch) Brosious. On Aug. 30, 1958, he married the former Marlene Smith and this year would have been their 60th wedding anniversary.
Robert attended Sunbury High School.
He was employed at Sunbury Motors for more than 40 years.
He attended Sunbury Bible Church.
Robert was an avid gardener. He loved flowers and his greenhouse, and his grandson was the world to him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Debra Brosious and Christine Brosious, both of Northumberland; one grandson, Ashton Bartlett, of Northumberland and his girlfriend Payton Koster, of Selinsgrove; two sisters, Nada Lindquist, of Northumberland, and Joan Groff, of Florida; and one brother, James Brosious Sr., of Northumberland.
He was preceded in death by eight siblings.
A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11.
Interment will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
