Robert "Bob"'s Story

Robert L. "Bob" Fogel, 84, of Penn Lutheran Village, Selinsgrove, passed away Feb. 12, 2018.
He was born Nov. 4, 1933, in Northumberland, a son of the late Clarence and Helen (Newfield) Fogel.

Bob was a 1951 graduate of Sunbury High School and attended Bloomsburg State College.
His career began at Shipmans and Real French Cleaners, he was a machinist, and he worked many years at Sunbury Cab Company.
He was very active in his church, Trinity Lutheran Church, where he served and taught Bible classes.
Bob enjoyed basketball in his youth. He enjoyed reading and being with family and friends. He regularly donated blood through the Red Cross.

He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce E. and Ronald E. Olson of Shamokin Dam; and three nieces and five nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Norma C. Fogel; and one brother, Glenn N. Fogel.
Friends and family my visit from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 900 Susquehanna Ave., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Mary Peterhaensel officiating.
Interment will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
