Ricky's Story

Text size

Ricky Lee Mull, 63, of Halifax, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at home with his wife and family by his side. He is now breathing easy and still celebrating the Eagles' big win.
He was born Nov. 28, 1954, in Sunbury, a son of the late Edgar K. Jr. and Betty I. (Straub) Mull.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Gingrich of Halifax; daughter Bobbi Jean (Henry) Maurer, Middleburg; two sons, Shawn (Erica) Mull, Port Trevorton; and Craig (Desiree) Mull, Mount Pleasant Mills; two stepsons, Ethan (Ashley) Gingrich; and Kyle (Nicole) Gingrich, of Halifax; three sisters, Linda (Mike) Nevin, Herndon; Susan (Clifford) Fegley, Middleburg; and Cathy (Greg) Hafer, Winfield; two brothers, Thomas (Susan) Mull, Shamokin Dam; and Steve Mull, Selinsgrove; half-brother, Scott (Celina) Mull, Milton; half-sister, Robin Mull, Middleburg; brother-in-law, Andrew (Gloria) Strohecker, Halifax; mother-in-law, Orpha Strohecker, Halifax; five grandchildren, Raymond, Brett, Logan, Larissa and Caden; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Mull; and two sisters-in-law, Doris Mull and Susan Mull.

Rick graduated from Middleburg High School in 1972, and attended Williamsport Area Community College as well as HACC.
He worked as shift supervisor at Tyco Electronics for 35 years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, softball, riding motorcycle, spending time in the mountains and at the beach, and anything with a power cord.
He was best known for his quick wit, humor, and heart of gold, and was a self-proclaimed jack of all trades, master of none. Rick will be sorely missed, but his tongue-in-cheek humor will live on whenever we repeat one of his Rick-isms.

A visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Douglas Compton officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.

Contributions may be made to Celtic Hospice, 150 Scharberry Lane, Mars, PA 16046, or Angel Pets (AngelPets.org), P.O. Box 236, Dauphin, PA 17018.
