Richard O. "Dick" Mull, 87, of Port Trevorton, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 30, 1930, in Selinsgrove, a son of the late Henry A. and Marie B. (Moyer) Mull. On Dec. 31, 1954, he married the former Audrey E. (Benfer) Mull who preceded him in death on March 26, 1995.
Dick was a graduate of the Freeburg School House. He served in the Korean War for the Army from 1952 to 1953 and received three Bronze Stars.
He also held positions as a mason/brick layer, and retired from the Selinsgrove Borough.
Dick was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Selinsgrove, the American Legion, Post 25, Selinsgrove, and the Middleburg VFW.
He enjoyed going fishing, playing cards, and "signing the book."
He is survived by one sister, Mary Laudenslager; one son and daughter and their spouses, Greg and Teresa Mull of Middleburg, and Paula and Brian Landis of Port Trevorton; four grandchildren and their spouses, Keith and Amanda Mull of Freeburg, Jeremy Mull of Middleburg, Ashley Landis and Kenny Banghart of Sunbury, and Jaymin Landis of Port Trevorton; and eight great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kaley, Caden, Andrew, Jaylen, Layla, Natalie, and Alana.
Dick was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Charles; and brother-in-law, Bruce Laudenslager.
Family and friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 2, with Pastor Stina Schaeffer officiating.
Burial will be in Cedar Hills Cemetery, Beavertown with full military honors by the Selinsgrove Legion Post 25, and the Selinsgrove VFW Post 6631.
