Richard W. "Bill" Culver, 78, of New Columbia, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019, at his home.
He was born April 14, 1941, in White Deer, a son of the late Harry Roy and Betty (Reynolds) Culver. He was married to the former Audrey Rearick. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage.

Bill was a 1959 graduate of Milton High School and served four years in the Navy before beginning his welding career at ACF, Milton.
Bill devoted his life to his family. They, along with his beloved dog Coal, were his priority. He enjoyed woodworking, playing the banjo, and golfing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Cindy Strawser of Selinsgrove, Tanya Lahr and her husband Raymond of Trevorton, Christine Culver and her fiancé Robert Kear of Watsontown, and Billie Jo Peterman and her husband Jami of New Columbia; 13 grandchildren, Tyler Strawser, Tammy Schaffner, Heather Jordan, Craig Vadasz. Keith R. Helwig, Brittany Helwig, Donna Peterman, Mary Peterman, Zachary Peterman, Zeke Peterman, Lulu Peterman, Camron Peterman and Ty Peterman; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Elaine Goodwin of New Columbia, and Hilda Kolb of Williamsport.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Matthew and Richard; and two brothers, Archie and Arrison Culver.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton.

Our prayers to the family. We remember when bill bought that banjo off my mom after dad passed in 84. Glad to see he was playing it. RIP BILL
