Rev. Kenneth's Story

Rev. Kenneth L. Bennett, 85, of North Sewickley Township, died Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Heritage Valley Beaver.

He was born Nov. 23, 1932, in Crab Orchard, W.Va., the son of the late Homer and Gernie (Huffman) Bennett.
He was a member of the New Brighton Church of the Nazarene and a supervisor at Pennsylvania House Furniture.

Surviving is his loving wife of 26 years, Merlene (Bolland) Retter-Bennett; two sons, Douglas E. (Vera) Retter, and Donald B. (Deedra) Retter; two sisters, Dolores (August) Barnett, and Reba Nadine (George) Van Riper; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.

Interment will be held Monday at 1pm at the Penns Creek Union Cemetery, Penns Creek, PA.
