Randell C. Strahan Sr., of Thomas Street, Mifflinburg, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born December 4, 1955, in Sunbury, a son of the late Stanley C. and Gladys G. (Gessner) Bingaman Strahan .
Randell attended Shikellamy schools.
He was employed by various local businesses, lastly Wood-Mode, Kreamer.
He attended Buffalo Valley Church of The Brethren, Mifflinburg.
Randell was very good with his hands and had the ability to fix or build just about anything. Much of his free time was spent doing what he liked best, tinkering.
He is survived by his son, Randell C. Strahan Jr., of Mifflinburg; three daughters and sons-in-law, Monica M. and Andrew Hoffman, of Mount Pleasant Mills, Angela L. and Derek Zimmerman, of Mifflinburg, Tracey S. and Steve Hagan, of Middleburg; grandchildren, Chase, Skylar, Anastasia, Avary, Sophie and Lyncoln; brothers, Hoyd, Albert, and William Bingaman, and Dean Strahan; sisters and two brothers-in-law, Dorothy Grubb, Doris and Ronald Elsesser, June Wells, Florence Kinney, Hilda and James Bauman and his best friend and little sister, Sue Stewart and her husband Mike "Feb" Stewart. He was preceded in death by his sister, Floretta Ulrich.
Friends and family may visit from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King St., Northumberland, followed by the funeral at 4, with the Rev. Eric Reamer officiating. The family requests guests dress casually for the service.
Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
