Ralph Henry "Pete" Mack, 90, of 2530 Spruce Run Road, Lewisburg for 59 years, entered into rest at 1:19 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017, at RiverWoods, Lewisburg, where he had been a resident since March.
He was born Aug. 4, 1926, in Milton, a son of the late Ralph R. and Daisy (Ickes) Mack. On Nov. 15, 1947, in Lewisburg, he married the former Liona Louise Reedy who preceded him in death on Oct. 8, 2006.
Ralph served in the Army during World War II from 1944 until his honorable discharge in 1946.
He was employed as a fabricator at the Shippers Car Line, Milton, for 44 years.
He attended the Reformed Baptist Church, Lewisburg.
Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by one son, Ralph H. Mack Jr., of Lewisburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Nancy L. and Daniel Keefer, of Lewisburg; two grandchildren and their spouses, Philip and Janie Keefer, of Lewisburg, and Hannah and Jon Stogner, of Wilbraham, Mass.; six great- grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Isaac, and Samuel Keefer, and Lucas and Zachary Stogner; and two sisters, Dorothy Laudenslager, of Michigan, and Jenny Pfleegar, of Montoursville.
He was preceded in death by five sisters, Gertrude Freed, Alberta Freed, Edna Freed, Patricia Vogel and Violet Reeder; and one brother, Charles Mack.
Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Reformed Baptist Church, 830 Buffalo Road, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 11, with Pastor Rod Conner officiating.
Burial will be in the Mazeppa Union Cemetery with military honors by the Mifflinburg American Legion Post 410 and area veterans.
