Pauline G. Gottshall, 90, of Prince Street, Northumberland, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at Manor Care, Sunbury, where she was a current resident.
She was born June 1, 1927, in Northumberland, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Gavason) Goshy. On Nov. 26, 1954, she married Lee Gottshall who survives.
Pauline was a 1945 graduate of Northumberland High School.
Following graduation she was employed for several local businesses including L'Aiglon Apparel, Northumberland and the Rea and Derick warehouse, Northumberland where she worked for more than 15 years.
She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Point Township.
Pauline will always be remembered as a loving wife and a caring, loving aunt and friend who made you feel special and welcomed you with her smile. Pauline enjoyed taking walks with her husband, the love of her life, to Montour Preserve, the marina, and around different towns and parks. She also enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, canning, and going to church when she was able. Pauline loved to help people do what she knew best and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
In addition to her husband of almost 63 years, she is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
Friends and family may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King St., Northumberland, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. Steven Middernacht officiating.
Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland.
