Patricia A. Williams, 76, of Sunbury, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at 8:06 a.m. at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after a six week illness.
She was born Oct. 12, 1941, in Salinas, Calif., a daughter of the late Marshall Leroy and Edna E. (Comp) Hummel. On Sept. 8, 1979, at the Sunbury United Church of Christ, she married Elwood L. "Woody" Williams who preceded her in death on May 20, 2011.
Pat was a graduate of Sunbury High School.
She was employed as a waitress at the Golden Arrow Restaurant until she retired.
She was a member of the YMCA and the Senior Action Center.
Pat enjoyed playing cards, movies, traveling, and crocheting, and had crocheted afghans for the Project Linus.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Lanell C. and Paul Wilson, of Locust Grove, Va.; two stepdaughters, Kay Boyd and Amy Smeltz; several nieces and nephews; and four great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by one son, Dwayne Kazar; and one brother, Marshall Lee Hummel.
A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Olley-Gotlob Funeral Home, 539 Race St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 1, with the Rev. Richard Fangmann officiating.
