Patricia A. Pfleegor, 75, of rural Milton, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at the UPMC Williamsport Hospital.
She was born March 11, 1942, in Baltimore, Md., a daughter of the late Cecil and Barbara Jene (Fox) Hornbeck. She was married to Gerald W. Pfleegor for 49 years until his death in 2010.
Patricia was a 1960 graduate of Milton High School, Empire Beauty School in Williamsport, and the LPN Career Center in Washingtonville. She had worked as a licensed pratical nurse at the Evangelical Community Hospital for more than 20 years.
She was a member of the Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton where she was a member of the military support committee, the Barnabas Ministry and the Coffee Ministry. She was also a former Girl Scout leader.
Patricia was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Tamela L. and Steve Trate, of Milton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark A. and Amy Pfleegor, of Milton and Andrew J. and Shelley Pfleegor, of Milton; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two brothers Cecil L. Hornbeck Jr. and his wife Bonnie of San Diego, CA, and Ronald E. Hornbeck of Charleston, SC.
Friends and relatives will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, followed by the funeral at 11, at Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Rd., Milton, with the Rev. Erik Ireland officiating.
Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery.
