Patricia Paul, 72, of Sunbury, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at her home.
She was born in Lykens Rd, on March 12, 1945, a daughter of the late Carrie (Shade) and Charles Koons.
Pat was employed at Dalmatia Blouse Factory for 33 years and ran the button hole machine and assembled hook and eyes.
She was a lifetime member of the Herndon Fire Company. She enjoyed playing her keyboard, watching NASCAR races and WWE wrestling, playing bingo, watching horror films, doing crafts, and loved all types of music, the louder the better. Pat enjoyed playing pool at the community room at Scott Towers and was delighted when her grandchildren visited. She was always happy when Tri-Valley beat Line Mountain.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years Marvin Paul. They were married on March 17, 1962.
She is also survived by three sons, Marvin Paul, Jr., of Herndon, Randy, husband of Toni Paul, of Northumberland, and Gary Paul and his companion Sherri Snyder Janaski of Lewistown; one sister, Jean Carl Lenker; and two grandchildren, Lyndsi Paul and Tristan Paul.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Koons.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Jen Weirick for the care given, and adventures she took Pat on, and also thank Allissa Gearhart, and the other aides that helped care for Pat.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Rd, Klingerstown, with the funeral following at 11, with Albert Kehler officiating.
Interment will follow at David's U.C.C Cemetery Herndon.
