Patricia D. "Pat" Engle, 82, a resident of the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove, formerly of Riverfront Apartments, Sunbury, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born June 29, 1936, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Elwood and Harriet (Reitz) Smith. In 1985, she married Charles Engle who preceded her in death in 1998.

Pat was a 1954 graduate of Sunbury High School.
She was employed in the shoe department at Boscov's until her retirement in 1995.

Pat enjoyed playing bingo and cards, Chinese auctions, and going to casinos. She was a lover of dogs, but her greatest love was spending time with her children, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Merta Graver of High Ridge, Mo.; one daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Miles Krouse of Sunbury; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and one brother, Roger Smith of Selinsgrove.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Debra Rubendall and Pamela Buch; one son, Donald Graver; and four brothers, Dale, George, James, and Larry Smith.

Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, with the Rev. D. Elinor Allison officiating.

Burial will follow in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.
