Norman T. Rauch, 72, of Ridge Road, Northumberland, passed away on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, at his home.
He was born Sept. 20, 1945, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Londeen and Betty (Mutschler) Rauch. On Sept. 5, 1964, he married the former Arlene L. Rantz who survives.
Norman attended Selinsgrove schools.
He was employed at Susquehanna Valley White as a parts manager for 35 years and also maintained his own body shop at home for 20+ years.
Norman loved his grandchildren and family first and foremost. He also enjoyed computers and anything outdoors including fishing, hunting, and riding his dirt bike in the mountains.
In addition to his wife, Arlene, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas K. and Dorothea Rauch, of Northumberland; his daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Dennis Stroup, of Liverpool; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Stephanie, Colten, Casey, Carley and Christy Jo; his brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Barb Rauch, of Sunbury; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandra and Junior Lepley, of Hummels Wharf and Chris and Ron Ulp, of Kannapolis, N.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his infant grandson, Eric P. Rauch.
Friends and family may visit from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Christ United Methodist Church, Front and King streets, Northumberland, followed by the funeral at 2, with his pastor, the Rev. Joan Dodson officiating.
Arrangements are by the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, 210 King St., Northumberland.
