Norman R. Gundrum Sr.


Norman R. Gundrum Sr., 64, of Lewisburg, entered into rest at 12:24 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, at his residence.
He was born June 17, 1955, in Linz, Austria, a son of the late Norman Thomas Gundrum and Rudolfine Franziska Sauer. On May 1, 1999, he married the former Joanne A. Diehl who survives.

Norman was a 1973 graduate of Milton High School. He served in the Marines from 1973 to 1977 as a helicopter mechanic and a door gunner.
He had worked for Conagra, Milton
Norman enjoyed collecting trains, Indian artifacts, and World War II memorabilia.

Surviving in addition to his wife, is his mother, Donna Gundrum of Milton; one son, Norman Gundrum Jr. of Coal Township; three brothers, Ralph Gundrum of Hot Springs, N.C., David Gundrum of Milton, and Darrell Gundrum of Jacksonville, Fla.

A memorial service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Norman's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
