Norma Jean Nicholas, 78, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017, with her friends by her side.
She was born May 15, 1939, in the York area, a daughter of the late Joseph Moses Hess and Alice Nicholas.
As a child, Norma Jean lived in the York area. She moved to Philadelphia when she was 12 years old and to Selinsgrove at the age of 43.
Norma Jean had a flair for fashion, a great sense of humor and a heart-warming laugh. She was a good friend to many people and her passing leaves an empty place in our hears.
She is survived by one sister, Dorothy Sterner, of York.
Friends are welcome to visit from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Faith, Hope and Love at the Selinsgrove Center, followed by the funeral at 2, with Pastor Ron Turner officiating.
Burial will be in the Selinsgrove Center Cemetery, Salem.
Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
