Nancy A. Straub, 61, of 342 Linden St., Sunbury, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Aug. 19, 1954, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Melvin L. Raup, of Montandon and the late Vivian M. (Newman) Raup. On Aug. 10, 1985, she married Edward L. Straub who survives.
Nancy was a 1973 graduate of Milton High School.
She formerly worked at JPM of Lewisburg.
She was affiliated with the Montandon Baptist Church, Montandon and served on the board of directors of Sunbury Youth Baseball.
Nancy enjoyed the company of her two dogs, Buddy and Lacy, as well as baking cakes and crocheting.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by one son, William E. Straub and his fiancee' Steph, of Renova; one stepdaughter, Allison Yeager and her husband Rich, of Sunbury; one stepson, Andrew Straub and his wife Elizabeth, of Sunbury; one grandchild; six stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda L. and Doug Mays, of Upper Marlboro, Md.; one nephew, Brian Mays; and one niece, Angela Barbitta.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Billheim,
Friends and family will be received for a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at the David T. Zweier Funeral Home Inc., 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury, with Pastor Mark Gittens officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Nancy's memory to Sunbury Youth Baseball and Mostly Mutts.
