Nancy J. Goodling, 70, of Selinsgrove, went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born July 13, 1947, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late David Fisher and Carrie (Graybill) Young. Nancy was formally married to Jack Kuhns. She married Ronald Goodling in 1993 and her death breaks a marital union of 25 years.
Nancy was a 1965 graduate of the Sunbury Area High School (last of the Owls).
She dedicated 33 years of service working for Ted Cresswell, Inc. The last three years she was employed at Giant Foods in Selinsgrove.
Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In her free time she liked to travel, play volleyball and bingo.
She is survived by two daughters, Jackie and Kevin Haines and Davetta and Guy Kratzer, all of Sunbury; stepdaughter, Corie and Ed Rosado of Florida; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Haines (Jamie Haines), Jared Haines (Kim Moyer), McKensie Haines (Robert Medon), Jacob Kratzer, Gage Kratzer, Kennedi Kratzer, Reeve Kratzer and Madison Rosado; three great-grandchildren, Tate Haines, Brynlee Haines, and Henley Haines; three sisters, Ruth Kline, Tina Comfort (Art), and Michelle McMichael, whom assisted with her care.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Fisher.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral at 11.
Interment will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nancy's memory to St. Judes Children's Hospital, Geisinger Home Health and Hospice, or your local animal shelter.
