Millicent K. Hallman

Millicent K. Hallman, 79, of Sunbury, was ushered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at her home after many years of struggle with an artificial esophagus which was created and perfected.

She graduated from Newton Centre High School, Newton, Massachusetts in 1957, and Ellen Cushing Jr. College in 1959.

Millie was employed at Sears for 21 years. She enjoyed her family and her winters spent in Florida with her husband and friends for the last 15 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her beloved children, Douglas Hallman and his wife Doreen, and James Hallman and his wife Brandy; and her two grandchildren, James and Julia, of Spring City, Pa.

Any gifts donated in her memory can be sent to Geisinger Janet Weis Children Hospital, Danville, PA.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at the Stonington Baptist Church, Stonington.

Our thoughts and sympathy are with you Bob. We remember fondly being your neighbours up the street in Twin Lakes, and seeing Millie often. She loved going to “Sally Ann” and finding treasure there. Also remember her riding her colourful bicycle around the park a few years ago. She was a very strong little lady. We know you took very good care of her. She has claimed her reward now. Blessings, xoxo
