He was born July 24, 1931, in Mount Carmel, a son of the late Francis and Laura (Szramowski) Strike. On July 9, 1953, in Saint Anthony's Church, Ranshaw, he married the love of his life, the former Mildred Reinhardt who survives.
Mike served in the Army and worked in the coal mines before he started his career as a police officer.
He was a member of Church of Our Lady, in Mount Carmel, formerly Saint Joseph's Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Diane Knorr; one brother, Edward Strike; two sisters, Josephine Smar and Regina Spering; his dog, Lily; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Church of Our Lady, 47 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, with Father Frank Karwacki, as celebrant.
Burial will be held in All Saint Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of Our Lady, 47 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, PA, 18751.
