Mary Ann Yagle, 67, of Selinsgrove, entered into rest on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at her home surrounded by her children, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Dec. 12, 1950, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Donald Shipe and Viola Stryker (Kerstetter).
On April 8, 1978, she married Daniel C. Yagle who proceeded her in death on May 20, 2007.
She was a 1969 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
Mary was employed by Giant Foods of Selinsgrove since the day the store opened. She was employed for 28 years, until her retirement on Jan. 28, 2016.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sunbury.
Mary was a very dedicated Steelers fan and had a true love for the Ford Mustang.
She is survived by one son, Steven J. and Amanda Miller; two daughters, Lisa J. (Miller) and Wade H. Gans and Jennifer M. (Yagle) Mattern.; four grandchildren, Scott F. Laverio, Emily N. Lott, Ava A. Miller and Gracie L. Miller; one brother, Richard Shipe; one sister, Karen Moser; and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday.
Interment will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
