Mary Musser Mary Musser, 88, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Friday morning, Aug. 10, 2018, at The Manor at Penn Village in Selinsgrove, with her son and daughter by her side.
She was born Jan. 23, 1930, in Selinsgrove, a daughter of Dominick and Conchetta (Clara) DeDay, and youngest sister of Frank, James, and Mamie, who preceded her in death.
She married Dale L. Musser on April 10, 1948, and together they celebrated 68 years of marriage before Dale passed away in 2016. They had three children, Darvin Dale who died in infancy, Tana Kay who resides in California, and Terris Lee who lives in the Philadelphia area.

Mary was a graduate of Selinsgrove High School where she was a cheerleader and participated in sports.
She worked as a homemaker and held various jobs, which included teacher's aide, personal secretary, and Welcome Wagon Hostess. Dale's career with Sherwin Williams Company took them to various locations, Allentown, Atlanta, Chicago, King of Prussia, and finally back to Selinsgrove, the place they always called "home".
Mary was a member of Christ Community Methodist Church and the Senior Center of Selinsgrove, and enjoyed the many social events and gatherings in the area. She loved competitive sports and spent decades playing tennis and golf, and in her later years exceled at bocce, cards, and bingo. She was an avid shopper, known for her fashion sense and accessorizing.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Tana Smith and son-in-law, Bob, and their three daughters and five grandchildren, and her son, Terry Musser and daughter-in-law, Lois, and their two daughters.

Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 3939 Park Road, Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. Randall G. Bennett officiating.
Burial will be in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam.

The family would like to thank nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and dedicated nurses at Penn Manor for their many gifts of care. Mary felt your love and support in her final years, and we are most grateful.

Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
