Mary H. Denlinger, 75, of York, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Hospice and Community Care of Mount Joy.
Mary was born Dec. 28, 1941, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late William K. and Kathryn T. Fahringer. Through their shared faith, she joins her late husband, the Rev. John A. Denlinger in Heaven.
Mary retired from the Postal Service after 27 years of service as a postal clerk. She also served as a church organist and choir director, and volunteered at York Memorial Hospital.
Mary loved animals and spending time with her pets. Guided by her faith, Mary was kind, compassionate and put others' needs above her own.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela S. Moyer, of Selinsgrove and Bethany A. Eckley, of Warriors Mark; two sons, Mark A. Denlinger, of Leander, Texas and Todd A. Denlinger, of Warriors Mark; three grandchildren, Merrick, Haley, and Hannah.
She was predeceased by a brother, William G. Fahringer.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at St. Paul (Zeigler's) Lutheran Church, 4258 Zeigler's Church Road, Seven Valleys. A general visitation with the family begins at 11:30 a.m. and a luncheon will be served after the service.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
