Marsha B. Peterson, 60, of Singing Bridge Road, McClure, passed away on Monday, Jan. 29, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born March 10, 1957, in Levittown, a daughter of the late Charles and Evelyn (Hance) Burd. In 1976, she married Kim A. Peterson who survives.
Marsha attended Neshaminy High School.
She was previously employed at Best Value Kosher Meat Markets in Langhorne, and later worked at JPM in Beaver Springs.
In her spare time she was a caretaker for her brother Brian and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Marsha's grandchildren were her life. She brought joy to their lives and they brought joy to hers. Instead of flowers that wither and fade or making donations to an organization, she requested donations be made to a memorial fund for her grandkids.
Marsha enjoyed fishing. She loved life and was willing to help anyone in need.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff A. and Lindsey Peterson; one daughter and son-in-law, Stacey L. and Shawn Dorman; four grandchildren, Kegan, Noah, Olivia and Rylee; two brothers, Brian Burd and Richard Burd; and one sister, Charlene Burd.
She was preceded in death by one brother in infancy, Edward Burd.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life will be held in the near future for her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Martha's memory may be made to "Marsha's Gifts", c/o Swineford National Bank.
Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown.
