Mark's Story

Mark Anthony Lindsay, 47, of Waynesboro, entered into rest on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at the Chambersburg Hospital.
He was born Feb. 17, 1970, in Harrisburg, a son of Shirley (Sheaffer) Lindsay, of Waynesboro and the late Charles Edward Lindsay Jr.

Mark was a 1988 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School and received a bachelor's of science degree in occupational safety and environmental health from Millersville University in 1992.

In addition to his mother, Mark is survived by two sons, Nicholas and Brock Lindsay; two sisters, Mitzi Lindsay, of Camp Hill and Tammy Lindsay, of Washington, D.C.; and one niece, Taryn Losch-Beridon, of Washington, D.C.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Tracy Renee Lindsay.

There will be no viewing. A graveside service for family members will be held in Liverpool Union Cemetery, at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018.
A celebration of Mark's life will be hosted for family and friends from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at Duke's Riverside, 313 S. Front St., Wormleysburg, following the family graveside service.

The George P. Garman Funeral Homes Inc., 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, have been entrusted with the arrangements.
