Mark A. Hackenberg

Mark A. Hackenberg, 53, of Middleburg, passed away suddenly on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at his home.
He was born April 2, 1965, in Lewistown, a son of Myron W. Hackenberg of McClure and Joyce A. (Heim) Gallagher of Middleburg. On Sept. 15, 1990, he married the former Tricia M. Martin who survives.

Mark was a 1983 graduate of Middleburg High School.
He had been employed at Soaring Eagle Security, Weis Markets, and WalMart. Mark's job as a DJ at Dan's Den, Sunbury, brought him great pleasure.
Reading was Mark's passion and he was also an avid fisherman. He loved animals, particularly his cats.

In addition to his parents and wife of 27 years, he is survived by one daughter, Morgan A. Kutz of Mechanicsburg; one brother, David M. Spigelmyer and his significant other, Jill Hampton of Carlisle; and one nephew, Devon Spigelmyer.

A viewing and a time of sharing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.

God is with us always. He has promised to never leave us. So know that Mark may not be able to be with us here on earth, but God is still with him. And God is also with us here who mourn Mark.
