Marjorie E. Savidge, 91, formerly of Selinsgrove, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at Heritage Springs Memory Care, Lewisburg.
She was born March 20, 1926, in Inglenook, a daughter of the late Harry and Ivy (Graff) Burrell. On Jan. 17, 1948, she married Donald M. Savidge who preceded her in death on April 29, 2011.
Marjorie grew up in Sunbury and was a 1944 graduate of Sunbury High School.
She lived in Selinsgrove until June 2016 when she moved to Heritage Springs.
She was an active and long-time member and employee of Sharon Lutheran Church, Selinsgrove.
After retiring, she enjoyed working in the yard and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by three children and their spouses, Rebecca and Jim Spriggle, of Selinsgrove, Kathy and Dan Keller, of Swathmore, and James and Jane Savidge, of East Petersburg; six grandchildren, Richard and Amanda Spriggle, Valerie Osborne, Karl Keller, and Cindy and Tim Savidge; and three great-grandchildren, Hayden Osborne, and Daniel and Zackary Keller.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Burrell.
At Marjorie's request, there will be no viewing or visitation. Private graveside services will be conducted in Orchard Hills Cemetery, Shamokin Dam, with the Rev. Robert P. Doll officiating.
Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
