Marian P. Zimmerman, 87, of 2790 Grand Valley Road, Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 4:10 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2017, at the Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born Sept. 22, 1929, in Laurelton, a daughter of the late Stanley and Naomi (Snook) Pick. On June 10, 1947, in Mifflinburg, she married Lloyd G. "Bud" Zimmerman, who preceded her in death on April 10, 2008.
Marian was a 1946 graduate of Laurelton High School.
She was employed at Huntington Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg, the Laurelton State School, and the Mifflinburg Lanes.
Marian enjoyed crocheting and bowling and was inducted into the Local Bowling Hall of Fame.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Douglas and Sharon Zimmerman, of Millmont, Ferlin Zimmerman, of Weikert, and Kevin and Jonna Zimmerman, of Mifflinburg; two daughters and one son-in-law, Maureen Miller, of Jekyl Island, Ga., and Cindy and David Lenhart, of Hughesville; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Harold Pick.
Family and friends are welcome from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Christ's United Lutheran Church, 13765 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. John Yost, officiating.
Burial will be in the Lincoln Chapel Cemetery, Laurelton.
