Marian E. Reem


Marian E. Reem, 89, of Williamsport, died Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Nippenose Valley Village.
She was born Oct. 9, 1929, in New Berlin, a daughter of the late Luther and Arlena (Moyer) Wagner. She was married for 65 years to James R. Reem who preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 2015.

Marian was a graduate of Lewisburg High School.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family, listening to gospel music (especially the Gaither Brothers), cross stitching, and her cats.
Marian was a member of Hillview Baptist Church.

She is survived by three children and their spouses, Steven J. and Christine Reem of Cogan Station, Lynette R. and James Rubin of State College, and Robert S. and Kelley Reemof Mill Hall; seven grandchildren, Amy Stewart, Steven Reem, Nicole Cashner, Laura Nolan, Robert, Randy and Ryan Reem; seven great-grandchildren, Joshua, Justin, Olivia, and Micha Stewart, Vivian Reem, and Khloe and Colton Cashner; and her siblings, Marvin Wagner of New Berlin and Jean Bingaman of Richmond, Va.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Eleanor Wagner.

A funeral service to honor the life of Marian will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. prior to the serive.
Burial will follow in New Berlin Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marian's memory to Lycoming Animal Protection Society, 195 Phillips Park Drive, Williamsport, PA 17702, or Nippenose Valley Village, 7190 Route 44, Williamsport, PA 17702.

We are so sorry for your loss. Marian and I enjoyed conversations on the phone. She was a wonderful wife to Jim and a great mother and grandmother etc. I will miss the times we shared. God bless all of you. Just know that she is with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
