Margaret's Story

Margaret Ann "Peg" Rudy, 70, of Danville, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Bloomsburg Health Care Center.

She was born Nov. 14, 1947 in Renovo, Pa., a daughter of the late Robert Sr. and Maudie (Mason) Campbell.

She graduated from the Bucktail Area High School Class of 1965. Following graduation, she worked at Bobbie Brooks, Inc. in Lock Haven. Peg moved to Danville in 1967, where she worked as a Nursing Assistant, and then obtained her LPN degree. She worked at Geisinger and retired in 2005, after 38 years of service. Following her retirement, she worked at Beiter's in Danville.

She was married to Ronald Rudy on May 10, 1997.

Peg enjoyed crocheting and doing other crafts. She loved spending time with her family, and read her bible on a daily basis.

She was preceded in death by one sister and brother, Patricia Allen, and Robert Campbell, Jr.

In addition to her loving husband, she survived by her three step-daughters, Rhonda Brouse and husband Eric, Robin Temple and fiancé Craig Santucci, and Roxanne Oubenali and companion D'Andre Livingston; three grandchildren, Autumn, Brandon, and Ryan; two sisters, Rita Hort and husband Wayne of New Columbia, and Susan Cannon of Renovo; five brothers, Gary Campbell of Waynesboro, Thomas Campbell of Renovo, Mark Campbell of Renovo, Francis Campbell and wife Patricia of Renovo, and David Campbell of Mill Hall; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends will be received from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m., Monday, in the Trinity Lutheran Church Chapel, located in the annex, 215 E. Market Street, Danville, followed by a Celebration of Peg's Life at 11:30, with Rev. Trevor Hahn officiating.

Inurnment will be private and take place at Odd Fellows Cemetery Columbarium at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brady Funeral Home, Inc., 448 Church Street, Danville.
