Luis G. Mena, 77, of Race Street, Milton, passed away on April 13, 2018, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born Dec. 9, 1940, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, a son of the late David and Nedi Garcia (Aponte) Mena. He was married to the former Margarita Santana who survives.
Luis worked many jobs in New York City before retiring to Milton.
He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Milton.
Luis enjoyed playing music and building his own percussion instruments, a good game of Dominoes, and watching movies. He loved to spend time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Margarita of Florida; three sons, Timothy Mena and Jonathan Mena, both of New York, and Luis Mena of Milton; two daughters, Zulieka Mena of New York and Annette Mena of Milton; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, followed by a memorial service at 11, with the Rev. Dale Hippensteel officiating.
