Lois E. Sterry, 92, of Lewisburg, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born July 3, 1925, in Williamsport, a daughter of the late Samuel S. and Eva L. (Decker) Pauling. On Jan. 20, 1952, she married Richard "Dick" Sterry and they celebrated 65 years of marriage before his death on June 11, 2017.
Lois attended Montgomery High School.
Earlier in life, Lois worked for the former Herr's Dairy Story and FB Heal's 10 Cent Store, both in Muncy and the former Ross' Studio, Lewisburg. After marrying Dick, she spent her time as a homemaker.
Lois was a member of the Reformed Baptist Church, Lewisburg.
Surviving are two sons, John R. Sterry, of Lewisburg and David E. Sterry, of Collegeville; one daughter, Ruth E. Wertz, of Lewisburg; and four grandchildren, Daniel, Nathan, Richie and Kathy.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, William and Howard; and two sisters, Doris and Roxanne.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St., Lewisburg, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Lance Bessler officiating.
Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.
