Lois L. Hartman, 88, of Forbes Street, McClure, passed away on Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at Ohesson Manor in Lewistown.
She was born April 1, 1929, in McClure, a daughter of the late Elder S. and Carrie L. (Krick) Wagner. On June 27, 1952, she married Fred E. Hartman who preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 2009.

Lois was a graduate of McClure High school.
She was employed at the Beaver Springs Garment factory, the Standard Shirt factory in McClure, sold Avon, and worked at Head Start.
She was a member of Mount Bethel Church, McClure, the McClure Fire Company Auxiliary, and the McClure American Legion Auxiliary.
Lois enjoyed cooking and baking, collecting cook books, reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Scott F. and Linda Hartman, of Sayville, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Bradley S. Hartman and wife Cheryl, of Ridge, N.Y., and Andrew T. Hartman, of Boston, Mass.; one great-grandson, Adam R. Hartman; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Nelson and Mona Lou Gilbert; four nieces, Linda Scholl and husband Donald, Patricia Wagner, Jill Stewart and Sally Parthmer; and one nephew, Gary Wagner and his wife Mabel.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, George H. Wagner, and his wife Cleo, and Arthur A. Wagner; one sister, Annabelle Goss and her husband Glen; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Florence Hartman; bother-in-law, George Hartman and his wife Jean; sister-in-law, Sarah Balmer and her husband Russell; nephews, Glen L. Goss Jr., Wayne A. Balmer, and Gene Wagner; and niece, Kimbra Rigel.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Pheasant Funeral Home, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown, with the Rev. Dean Bobb officiating.
