Lloyd J. Wolf Lloyd J. Wolf, 79, of Sunbury, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at the Williamsport Hospital.
He was born July 14, 1939, in Northumberland, a son of the late Lloyd H. and Mary E. (Lambright) Wolf.

Lloyd was a 1957 graduate of Northumberland High School and a 1962 graduate of Susquehanna University, earning a bachelors degree in education.
??Lloyd taught school in New Jersey for 10 years. He then moved to California for 22 years and worked for an insurance company and later the Wells Fargo Bank. In 1994, he packed up all his belongings and said goodbye to friends and moved back to Sunbury to take care of his invalid mother.
For more than 20 years, he was the beloved organist and music minister for both First Baptist Church in Lewisburg and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Milton. He belonged to a number of local choirs and was a member of the Organist Guild. Over the years he had a positive influence on his young students for instrumental and voice training, now, as adults they give Lloyd credit for their developed musical gifts.
Lloyd's hobbies were gardening and over 20 years he won hundreds of awards for his flower displays at the Bloomsburg Fair. His home in Sunbury was admired for all the beautiful flowerbeds.

??He is survived by one sister, Ruth Witmer of Camp Hill; one nephew, Chuck Witmer of Mechanicsburg; five great-nephews; and one great-niece.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Clara E. Mull on June 15, 1989.

The Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at St. Joseph's Church, Milton, with Father John D. Hoke of St. Joseph's, the Rev. Jillian Hankamer and retired pastor Mac Scott, both from First Baptist Church, Lewisburg, will offer the service with a combined choir from First Baptist and St, Joseph's Catholic.??
