Lloyd A. Troxell Lloyd A. Troxell, 92, formerly of Creek Road, Middleburg, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove, where he resided with his wife, Ruth, since April of 2018.
He was born Jan. 21, 1926, on the family farm in Franklin Township, Snyder County, the only child of the late Reed B. and Elsie E. (Herbster) Troxell.

Lloyd attended the Hassinger School.
On Dec. 23, 1950, he married the former Ruth H. Kratzer who survives. Together they shared 67 years of marriage.
He was employed by Theodore Erdley in his early years hauling canned milk for local farmers. He also helped local farmers with planting and harvesting local crops. Lloyd was a farmer all his life.
He was a member of Hassingers "White" Lutheran Church, Middleburg, the Snyder County Young Farmers, the Reliance Hose Company, Middleburg, the Rescue Hose Company, Beavertown, the Snyder and Pennsylvania Holstein Clubs, and the Snyder County Tractor Pullers.
Lloyd enjoyed going to tractor pulls and attending his grandchildren's activities.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John and Gayle Troxell Sr. of Middleburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Judi and Robert Hauck of Middleburg; adopted son, Andrew Walter and wife Carol of Middleburg; four grandchildren and spouses, Samantha and Jason Heimbach of Middleburg, John Troxell Jr. of Lewisburg, Amanda Hauck of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Matthew and Dyanna Hauck of Middleburg; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wayside Bible Church, Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 2, with the Rev. Timothy Reich officiating.
Burial will be in the Hassingers "White" Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Contributions in Lloyd's memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
