Lisa S. (Attinger) Wiest, 46, of Sunbury, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
She was born April 23, 1972, in Sunbury, to Ruthann (Moyer) Faust and the late William R. Attinger Jr.
Lisa graduated from Shikellamy High School in 1990.
She was employed at Tru-Built Lumber Company, Sunbury.
She was a member of the American Legion Post 44, the Northumberland Hookies, and the Sunbury East Ends. Lisa had many friends at each of these establishments.
Lisa's passion revolved around sports and her children. Whether she was playing softball, bowling, or cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, but most importantly she loved supporting and cheering on her children in their athletic endeavors.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three children, Kyle Attinger and wife Tricia of Shamokin Dam, Nicole Wiest and Blaise Wiest, both of Sunbury; her companion, Teege Fasold of Northumberland; stepfather, William Faust Sr.; one sister, Lauree Attinger; five brothers, Jason Attinger, Trevor Attinger, John Attinger, Shawn Faust, and William Faust Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Melissa Stuck of Northumberland. She was formerly married to Steven Wiest of Sunbury.
She was preceded in death by her father, and one brother, William R. Attinger III.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by a memorial service at 8.
