Leslie Gay Cooper, 60, of 114 Fisher Circle, Mifflinburg, for the past 11 years, entered into rest at 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at her home.
She was born April 27, 1956, in Newark, N.J., a daughter of Robert J. and Edwina J. (Bregen) Tabit, of Palm Coast, Fla. She was married for 25 years to William E. Cooper who survives.
Leslie was a 1974 graduate of Lewisburg High School and later from Penn State University.
She and her husband owned and operated Mike and Dots II, Mifflinburg, for 23 years. Earlier in life, she was employed at Selinsgrove Center and Laurelton Center.
Leslie was of the Christian faith.
She enjoyed cooking, collecting, and her dogs.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents, are one brother, Christopher Rob Tabit, of Bowden, Ga.; one sister and brother-in-law, Kymberlee A. and Rob Nalumaluhia, of Bishop Chalfant Valley, Calif.; one son, Aaron M. Cooper, of Monongahela; one daughter, Tracey Yohn, of Enola; and five grandchildren.
Friends and family are welcome to a time of visitation from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Roupp Funeral Home Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, followed by a memorial service at 6, with the Rev. John Yost, officiating.
