Dear Aunt Barbara and Daniel,
I am very sorry for your loss. Uncle Kevin was a great guy; he was smart, kind hearted and loved helping others. When my kids were small, I will always remember when he visited he would make balloon animals for the kids - they were a big hit ! Uncle Kevin always looked forward to talking to Daniel and giving him handy man advice on how to fix things. He would light up whenever he spoke of his grandkids ~ he loved them so ! I will miss him, too ~ he was a wonderful man in so many ways . Uncle Kevin was a religious man and I know that he is in Heaven and that he will always be looking over you from Above. May your faith comfort all of you during thi
...s time. Last but not least, at the bottom of Uncle Kevin’s signature line he had a famous quote from Mahatma Ghandi: Be The Change You Want To See In The World ~ That was Uncle Kevin for sure.Read more

I cannot believe this has happened. My deepest condolences to the family. "kippy" was my "baby brother, born when I was 3 years old. One of the few am shows had a news anchor, and a co- anchor, "zippy" a live chimp. Being fond of primates for most of my life, you bet I was awake and alert to watch this adorable chimpanzee , every am in the 1950's. Being only 3 years old, my pronunciation of names & words was not fully developed. I instantly named the new baby brother, "KIPPY." Zippy was too difficult yet to pronounce. To my shock, the nickname stayed with Kevin his entire life. Many wondered, who is Kevin ? You mean kip ? Thanks for the memories and may the Lord's arms surround you in pe...ace.Read more
