Kenneth H. Beaver Wise, 51, of Shamokin Dam, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018, at his home.
He was born Aug. 10, 1966, in Lewisburg, a son of Sharon E. Kauffman Smith of Port Trevorton.
Ken was a 1984 graduate of Middleburg High School.
He was a self employed hair dresser.
Ken enjoyed going to the beach, doing yard work, and traveling. His life was consumed by doing genealogy which produced volumes of family history. Ken's greatest joy were his Great Danes.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his grandmother, Mary E. Peters of Shamokin Dam; one brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Donna Beaver of Halifax; one sister and brother-in-law, Tanna and Steve Robinette of Selinsgrove; stepfather, Paul R. Smith; nieces and nephew, Erin, Aria, and Cameron; three aunts, Nancy Knepp, Patsy Shirey, and Joyce Hockenbrough; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Albert Kauffman; and his grandfather, Herbert Peters.
Friends and family will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Mark Gittens officiating.
Burial will be in Hassinger's "White's" Lutheran Church Cemetery, Middleburg.
