Kay L. Casner, 73, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Friday morning, July 28, 2017, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.
She was born April 6, 1944, in Lewis Township, Union County, a daughter of the late Lester E. Shaffer and Gloria Fisher. She was married to Frank Casner who preceded her in death.
Kay had attended the Perry West Perry Elementary School and Middleburg High School. She enjoyed canning and playing cards, especially Pinochle. She will be remembered as a loving and caring mother.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly Mowery, of Middleburg and Ronald Mowery, of Mount Pleasant Mills, Wanda and Harvey Mowery, of Mount Pleasant Mills, and Rebecca and Darryl Strawser, of Mount Pleasant Mills; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one sister and brothers-in-law, Linda and Denny DiOrio, of Danville; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Charlotte Shaffer, of Middleburg and Merrill and Debbie Shaffer, of Thompsontown.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Barry, Gregory and Wayne Casner.
Private funeral services will be held at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, with the Rev. Paul Sheets officiating.
Burial will be in the Troxelville Union Cemetery.
