June E. Ritter


June E. Ritter, 87, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Monday morning, Aug. 26, 2019, at her home.
She was born June 16, 1932, in Penn Township, Snyder County, a daughter of the late Arthur S. and Dorothy C. (Dressler) Wagner. On July 2, 1955, she married Harvey E. Ritter who survives.
June retired after 23 years of service from the Selinsgrove High School cafeteria.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Selinsgrove, where she had assisted in the children's Sunday school.
June enjoyed cooking, but her greatest pleasure came from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 64 years, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale H. and Debra Ritter of Shamokin Dam, and Timothy L. and Bridget Ritter of Selinsgrove; five grandchildren and their spouses, Sarah and Jack Lydic, Anne Ritter, Michael and Brennan Ritter, Joseph and Melissa Barnes, and Heidi and Jim Lake; five great-grandchildren, Trey, Grady, Samson, Josephine, and James R. III; three brothers, Dean Wagner of Middleburg, Clarence and Jack Wagner, both of Selinsgrove; and one sister, Erma Sauers of Selinsgrove.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Vernetta Wagner.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at Salem Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Kristina Schaeffer officiating.
Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
