"In remembrance of my dear and only son, Jeremy...
Jeremy had a great love for the creatures of the wild. When he was young, his favorite thing to do was load up and head for the mountain to walk through the forest.
I can still see the joy in his sweet face when he chanced upon a snake or a turtle. An innate intelligence shone through back then but as time moved on and the years passed by, he fell in and out of the valley. Unfortunately, the valley finally overtook him and he could not break free. He is released from his pain now.
Live in the moment. Cherish life and those you love, loving all human beings, for we are all the same. Tomorrow may never come, dreams often not realized. Life on this beautiful earth is fleeting...
Forever loving you, Jeremy."

"This life carried too much burden
You tried to just stay strong
But the heartache and the torment had gone on for way too long
You had to leave this world and all that you loved
To free you from the wretched binds that cut, shattered and shoved.
Although you still had so much to do, you had to leave us behind.
On another plane we'll meet again, my love, and happiness we'll find."
Your loving wife, Tara

There will be an informal gathering of close friends and family to honor Jeremy at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Tall Timbers/ Snyder Middleswarth Natural Area in Bald Eagle State Forest near Troxelville. Signs will guide you to the memorial once you arrive at the park.

Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
