Jean Constance Hock, 93, of 2080 Red Bank Road, Mifflinburg, passed away at Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, at Watsontown Health and Rehab Center.
She was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Patterson, N.J., a daughter of the late George S. and Tyna (Van Der Vliet) Richmond. On Nov. 16, 1946, she married Joseph Anthony Hock who passed away on Jan. 9, 2005.
Jean was a homemaker and was of the Lutheran faith.
She enjoyed gardening, painting, antiques, and just spending time at home.
Surviving are two sons, James J. and Christine Hock, of Mifflinburg, and Joseph A. Hock Jr., of Mifflinburg; two grandsons, James M. Hock and wife Stephanie, of Richmond, Va., and Matthew P. Hock, of Phoenix, Ariz.; four great-granddaughters; and one brother, William H. Richamond, of Fairlawn, N.J.
She was preceded in death by one son, Barry S. Hock, and one daughter, Gail J. Hock.
Family and friends are invited to the viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Adamo's, 16 Walnut St., Mifflinburg, followed by the funeral at 1:30, with the Rev. John D. Yost officiating.
Interment will be in the Hartleton Cemetery.
