Janette Marie (Acy) Kifo, 61, of rural Danville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, with her family at her side and in the comfort of her home.
She was born Aug. 28, 1956, in Bethesda, Md., a daughter of Barbara Virginia (Chappell) Acy Voris, of Watsontown, and the late Boyd Joseph Acy III.
Janette attended Warrior Run schools and had graduated from University of Phoenix with her MBA in 2008.
She was a software engineer and loved working with computers.
She was a member of MENSA.
Janette enjoyed gardening, painting, and studying her Bible.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Darla Jean Scholl, of Danville, and Barbara Dee Scholl Dye, of Milton; a son, Charles Seth Packard, of Danville; four grandchildren; two brothers, Derrick Joseph Acy, of Elkhart, Ind., and Jeffrey Allen Acy, of Winchester, Va.; and two sisters, Alice Diane Acy Archibald, of Cave Creek, Ariz., and Ruth Margaurite Voris Butler, of Shillington.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Mazeppa Cemetery, with the Rev. Walter Gary Zarr officiating.
Memorial contributions in Janette's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
