Janet Lou Muffly, 82, of Dover, Del., passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018.
She was born Jan. 23, 1936, in Sunbury, Pa., a daughter of the late Earl and Christobel (Predix) Naugle.
She grew up in Selinsgrove, Pa., and was married shortly after graduating high school to Edwin Specht Sr.
The two traveled with his Navy career and returned to Selinsgrove before she moved to Dover in 1985, to be with her son, Edwin Jr.
Janet loved the outdoors, fishing, and was an avid gardener. She also loved cooking for family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Edwin Specht Jr. (Denise Casad), of Houston; daughter, Christa Specht-Smoot, of Felton; siblings, Andrew Naugle and Richard (Barbara) Naugle, both of Selinsgrove, Suzanne Naugle-Raymond, of Endwell, N.Y., Darlene Nasados and Connie Heatherington (William), both of Selinsgrove; grandchildren, Heather (James) Taylor and Austin Williams; and great-grandchildren, Dylan Gondeck, Kellan and Keegan Taylor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Specht Sr.; brother, Earl Naugle Jr.; and sister, Phyllis Hare.
Funeral services will be private.
