James L. Geiswite James L. Geiswite, 88, of Milton, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at his home.
He was born Oct. 30, 1929, in White Springs, a son of the late Charles and Irma Elizabeth (Goodman) Geiswite. He was married to the former Charlotte "Rose" Fisher until her death in 2001.

James was a graduate of Mifflinburg High School and had served in the Army in Germany, Italy and Austria.
He was employed by the Pennsylvania Game Commission as a land manager and for ACF in Milton for 27 years, retiring in 1994.
He was a member of the Northumberland County Historical Society, the Snyder County Historical Society, and the Beavertown Historical Society. He was also a Boy Scout leader and Deputy Game Warden.

James is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Erin Geiswite of Milton; four grandchildren, Joshua L. Geiswite, Samantha R. Geiswite and her companion Matthew Drowser, Madilynn B. Geiswite, and Kathryn E. Geiswite; three stepgrandchildren, Tyler Houser, Allison Ziants and Christopher Ziants; four stepgreat-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Emaleigh, Jace, and Lynlee; and one sister, Margie Bridge of Mifflinburg.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin and Glen Geiswite.

Friends and relatives will be received from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, followed by a memorial service at 4, with the Rev. Dale Hippensteel officiating.
