Jacqueline N. Crissinger Sauers, 88, of 7 E. Honey Locust Dive, Lewisburg, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 8, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center.
A native of Anderson, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Raymond O. and Eva (Strader) Riggs. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Crissinger in 1974 and her second husband Harold Sauers in 2006.
Jacqueline had been employed as a secretary at Crissinger Motors, a bank teller at Herndon National Bank, and later at M & T Banks in Snyder County.
She last attended the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church, 205 Bull Run Crossing.
Jacqueline was an exceptional pianist and church organist and played for many events at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village. She enjoyed traveling, and organized many trips for Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village. She enjoyed puzzles and games.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Leon Reed of Lewisburg, and Renee and Bill Enders of Dornsife; two stepsons and their spouses, Kevin and Shirley Sauers of New Cumberland, and Brian and Seann Sauers of Mifflinburg; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church, 205 Bull Run Crossing. There will be no funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
The family will provide flowers and asks that donations in Jacqueline's memory be made to the Benevolent Care Fund c/o Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.
Funeral arrangements are by the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home Market and Eighth streets, Lewisburg.
