Ira R. Kline, 92, of Franklin Avenue, Milton, went home to be with his Lord on Sept. 9, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born Aug. 7, 1926, in White Deer Township, Union County, a son of the late Norman and Carrie (Bowersox) Kline. He was married for more than 66 years to the former Doris M. Erb who preceded him in death.

Ira joined the Air Force and served two years in Europe.
He was employed at Milton Steel for 44 years, retiring as shop superintendent. He served as a minister of the United Pentecostal Church International more than 63 years.

Ira is survived by one son, Wayne (Mary) Kline, of Dove Creek, Colo.; three daughters, Evelyn (Bob) Pistone of Yuma, Ariz., Peggy Thornton, of Meridian, Miss., and Sharon (David) Puckett, of Williston, N.D.; three sisters, Carolyn (Walter) Neitz, Gloria Yerg, and Norma (James) Catherman; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Ira was preceded in death by two sons, I. Ray Kline and Barry Kline; one sister, Joyce Snyder; and two grandsons, Ronald Wagner and David Puckett Jr.

Friends and relatives will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N Front St., Milton. A funeral homecoming service at 10 a.m. Monday at Revival Tabernacle, 960 Susquehanna Trail, Watsontown.
Burial with military honors will be in Mazeppa Cemetery.
