Helen M. Maurer, 66, of Hebe, passed away on July 11, 2019, at her home.
She was born Aug. 4, 1952, in Millersburg, a daughter of the late Idabelle and Earl D. Raker. She was married to Allen Maurer who survives.
Helen was employed as a cook for 14 years at the R & K Dinner, Elizabethville.
She was a member of David's United Church of Christ, Hebe.
Helen loved puzzles, traveling, and family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Dennis (Laura) Maurer; two daughters, Rita (Beau) Livesay, and Karen Bordner; three sisters, Esther Bordner, Ann Mae (John) Kristofits, Pauline Hawk; one brother, Paul (Norma) Raker; five grandchildren, Caleb Hottinger, Haley Libesay, Myah and Alyssa Smeltz, Julie Tressler, Holly Klock; and two great-grandchildren, Carter Klock and Jackson Kauwell.
She was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Tom Bordner; and one brother-in-law, Raymond Bordner.
Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family.
A celebration of life service will be held at noon, Saturday, July 20, at Reigles Church, Millersburg.
